Guy Beahm, who streams on Twitch beneath the persona of Dr Disrespect, has posted an apology about his controversial E3 livestream, which resulted in him being banned from the streaming platform for 2 weeks.

Beamh was banned for streaming in a public rest room on the LA Convention Centre throughout E3 final month, breaching Twitch’s neighborhood tips.

He broke character on his Twitter account, which hasn’t been posted on for 2 years, to apologise for his behaviour.

“We have been so into the E3 IRL journey that we turned a bit of blind in what’s OK and what’s not OK,” Beamh writes. “We had no ailing intentions and I really feel that was fairly apparent in case you watched your complete factor. We needed to seize an journey, sadly we took that journey into the wrongs areas unaware of the legalities surrounding it. On behalf of the Dr Disrespect model, I apologise for this.”
